Cruzin Productions, LLC. have been producing events for the

AT HIS BIG DOG GARAGE...
Just Cruzin'
Productions and Carroll Shelby met with Jay Leno this
week at his big dog garage to film a segment about the
new Shelby Mustang GT 350 Las Vegas Pace Car Edition and
to take a photo together for a painting that will be
produced and auctioned by world renowned artist, Scott
Jacobs. Jay Leno may be making an appearance at the
Barrett-Jackson Supercar Meet in Orange County, CA
produced by Just Cruzin' Productions if his schedule
permits. If Jay can make it, he will be there to be a
part of the auction taking place at Carroll Shelby's
shop in Gardena, CA in June of 2010. The proceeds raised
from the auction of this painting will be donated to the
Carroll Shelby Children's Foundation. We want to thank
Carroll and Jay for their contribution to this project
and their support with the Just Cruzin' Life Foundation
and the Just Cruzin' Events.
Well, we had quite a
day Sunday. I picked up Carroll Shelby and his
wife, Cleo, from their home and we went to Jay
Leno’s “Big Dog Garage” in Burbank. The purpose
of this meeting was twofold, one to have Jay
interview Carroll for his garage TV show and the
other was to have Jay and Carroll pose for an oil
painting that will be auctioned off at the
Supercar Meet on June 26th at Carroll’s
shop.
The painter, Scott
Jacobs, is a very well known for his paintings of
motorcycles and cars. He has just published a
book (“The Art of Scott Jacobs”) of all his
paintings. You can check him out at

I had asked Scott if
he could do a piece for our auction and he
agreed. The piece will be Carroll and Jay
together with one of their favorite cars. Scott
already had a meeting scheduled where Jay was to
interview him, so we decided to meet together at
Jay’s and include Carroll Shelby. Jay filmed an
interview with Scott and one with Carroll for his
TV show. Right after that, they posed on Jay’s
Ford GT for the oil painting. This oil painting
will be a one of one and will be extremely
valuable. Of course, Scott will sign it but we
will also have Carroll and Jay sign it too.
I talked with Jay
about the possibility of him being available to
help us auction the painting and he was very
excited about helping. If his schedule permits,
he will be at the Supercar Meet Auction in
Gardena, California, at Carroll Shelby’s shop on
June 24, 2010. The proceeds will be donated to
the Carroll Shelby Foundation.
Boy, what a day this
was. Jay also donated four tickets to his show
which will also be auctioned that day.

building into a very exciting event and I hope you

Just Cruzin' would like to thank the NASCAR community
and some drivers in particular. At the 50th Anniversary
Daytona 500 Race, Ryan Newman signed two commemorative
Daytona jackets, which brought in over $10,000. He then
came back for the GT forum auction held in Austin, TX
and donated two tickets to the Las Vegas Nascar Race,
included with that were a helicopter ride to and from
the race for those auction winners. He also donated a
signed driver suit and a ticket package for two to the
Vegas NASCAR race. Ryan has been a great friend and
contributor to Just Cruzin' and the GT forum charities
which is the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Loma Linda
Veterans Hospital. This is where wounded vets go to
receive care. This year we are putting on The Supercar
Meet in Orange County Sponsored by Barrett-Jackson and
will be held at Carroll Shelby's corporate office in
Gardena, CA. All the proceeds raised will go to the
Carroll Shelby Childrens Foundation.
Nascar and it's drivers over the years have been very
supportive and we cannot thank them enough. Tony
Stewart Racing donated 12 helmets, all signed by Tony.
Those were also auctioned off and benefitted the
veterans. We have also had numerous donations such as
driving helmets, suits, shirts, hats and more all signed
by various Nascar Drivers.
The Nascar drivers have become a large part of why these
auctions are so successful and help so many... I don't
know how we would do without them and we would certainly
like to thank them for helping us reach these charity
goals. We would also like to thank Carroll Shelby, for
the fourth year in a row many of the items that we have
auctioned off, Carroll has agreed to sign.
Below is a photograph of the donation being made in
2008. If not for the support of the Nascar community we
wouldn't be able to have raised this amount of money.
We would like to thank the Ford GT Forum Members, the
Supercar Meet participants and the Pismo Beach
Participants who reach deep in their pockets to help us
raise money at our auctions.
